Jonathan Lyau began running in 1979 and never stopped. He has coached runners of different abilities from the beginner to the national class athlete. He has coached on the personal, group, and high school levels. His runners range from teens to 76 years of age. He is the assistant girl’s cross country coach at Iolani School and the girl’s distance track coach at Kamehameha School. He is also the coach of Leukemeia and Lymphoma Society’s marathon training program, Team N’ Training and owner of Personal Best Training where he trains runners towards personal goals. Jonathan is one of Hawaii’s top runners and a former Hawaii State high school track champion (1982). He has completed more than 30 marathons and has been the top local-born finisher in the Honolulu Marathon from 1993 to 2004 and 2006-2009. He is the 1994 and 2002 Great Aloha Run champion. In 2009, he was inducted into the Honolulu Marathon Hall of Fame.
Jonathan LyauChet "The Jet" Blanton has more than 3 decades of running. He works for the Hawaii Bicycle League as their Coordinator / Instructor for the Bike Ed program in Honolulu, Hawaii. He also is a part time Tennis Coach in Honolulu. He has coached at Pearl Harbor and was the assistant coach at Iolani High School. Chet also has been the head distance Track coach at Iolani high school for over 8 years and is the head girls cross country coach at Iolani. Chet has done 45 Marathons, 80 Ultra Marathons, over 100 sprint triathlons, 8 half-Ironmans, 14 Ironmans, 2 doubles, 2 triples, and a Double Deca(20x Ironman). He is the owner of Team Jet Hawaii which offers a fun, yet quality training environment for Hawaii’s aspiring runners, swimmers, bikers, and triathletes.

Kimberly McLean
An avid Triathlete for 15 years, Kimberly has raced many distances and competed on an international level representing Canada and her First Nation Metepenagiag. She loves to share her passion of sport through coaching with her First Nation community. Kimberly has coached cross country at Mid Pacific Institute as assistant coach for two years and has lead many running clinics in Hawaii.

Kimberly McLeanLauran Dignam is one of Hawaii’s high school track legends. She was named Most Outstanding Athlete at the 2002 Hawaii State Meet after winning 5 gold medals and setting the state meet record in the 200m. She helped lead Iolani to titles in both track and cross country as a senior. She was named ILH Player of the Year for soccer in 2002. Lauran is a 2002 inductee in the Hawaii High School Hall of Honor. She attended and ran track at the University of Washington where she set the 400m school record. She graduated with a degree in sociology. She currently coaches Cross Country and Track at Iolani School.
Lauran DignamCasey Nishimura was a Hawaii state track meet medalist in the 1500m and also in cross country as a student at Mid Pacific Institute. He was 1st team all ILH in cross country. Casey is a graduate of Pacific University where he competed in cross country and track. He currently is Assistant Cross Country and Head Track & Field Coach at Mid-Pacific Institute.
